Pilar Dostal
Pilar Dostal spent twenty-five years as a partner and trusted advisor to executive teams at Fortune 500 companies, helping leaders navigate complexity, shape strategy, and lead large-scale transformation. Along the way, she discovered something that would redirect the arc of her work: the hardest challenges in organizations are rarely just strategic. They are human. Time and again, sustainable change came down to a leader’s capacity for self-awareness, courage, and authentic presence. The most profound leverage, she came to understand, lies within the leader.
That discovery did not lead Pilar to a career change. It led her to a calling. As a certified Integral Coach through New Ventures West, she brings a methodology rooted in the understanding that lasting leadership growth requires attention to the whole person: how leaders think, feel, act, and relate. She is also a serious student of the Enneagram, drawing on the developmental traditions of Riso-Hudson and Beatrice Chestnut to help clients understand the deeper architecture of their character and expand the range of who they can be.
Pilar’s deepest belief is that the world gets better when leaders become genuinely in tune with themselves and lead with courage and authenticity so humanity can flourish. She is also a passionate writer whose articles, including “Stairway to Self,” explore the inner terrain of leadership and human becoming.
Pilar holds an MBA in Corporate Strategy and Organizational Behavior from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a BA in Interpersonal and Nonverbal Communication from the University of Colorado Boulder. She is certified as an Integral Coach through New Ventures West.
She lives in Colorado, where the mountains restore her. Music is equally essential: she sings in bands and rock choirs and finds in that aliveness the same spark she hopes to ignite in the leaders she works with. Her husband, Jared, and her son, Keenan, are a constant source of love, learning, and meaning.
